A Little About Me
Hello...
I am an self taught artist,designer,creator,along with Mother,maid,chauffer,dog walker,wife, chief cook and bottle washer
Working hard on the launch of my first webstore. I have worked for over ten years strictly on ebay under the name daysgonebyprimitives, my ebay store was daysgonebycreations. I have decided it is finally time to take the website plunge. My youngest will be starting school this year, so I am embarking on this longtime dream of creating and doing what I love to do everyday.
My creations have been featured in Collectiques, a beautiful shabby chic shop in Monongahela, Pa. My OOak Dress Forms created from vintage balle gowns, shabby roses and just the right shabby bling...
Have been well recieved there.
After many requests, and the support of my family and especially my husband who bought me this webdesign for Christmas which meant so much to me, that he supports this long held dream to do what I Love...
I love all thing old with their little imperfections, history and character. A love of sewing was passed down from my beloved grandmother who took the time to show a little girl how to do the stitches. She made beautiful quilts and rarely did I ever see her without a needle in her hand. All of this and she raised 13 children to boot.WHEW!
My life is very different than it was 10 years ago when I was caught up in the working world... Life was passing me by in a blur of work hours. I didn't take the time for family or to enjoy life's beauty. But God had a way of slowing me down...
I met my husband and shortly after we were expecting our first daughter.I have had migraines since I was 11, but during my pregnancy I got really ill.Many tests later I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Thank God it is not malignant,but it is a pain all the same, I have really frequent headaches and vision problems at times. So, no more 9 to 5 for me.
I started selling on ebay because I could sew when I felt wwell enough and the extra money helped out too.
Believe it or not my life is better now than it was before the tumor, NOW I SEE LIFE IN A WHOLE NEW VIEW...I take the time to look at the beautiful things life has to offer. Family is my heart and life is truly a blessings.
I try to put a little of my soul in all of my creations. They are how I envision the world.
