Romantic Cottage Photos

PHOTOS OF MY ROMANTIC HOME... I WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOURS...PLEASE SUBMIT PHOTOS FOR DISPLAY HERE ON MY SITE... WE PURCHASED THIS 1700'S HOME IN 2000 AND HAD TO WORK ON IT FOR 4 YEARS BEFORE IT WAS EVEN LIVABLE...THE SINK WAS ON BRICKS YOU COULD SEE THROUGH THE FLOOR TO THE BASEMENT... ONE OF MY FRINEDS WAS HONEST ENOUGH TO SAY " I KNOW YOU HAVE A VISION I JUST CAN'T SEE IT" LOL...THERE WAS QUITE A WHLE WHEN I DIDN'T EITHER...SO MY HUSBAND AND I WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM MY DAD AND OUR AT THE TIME TWO YEAR OLD SLEDGEHAMMERED, AND LUGGED,AND RIPPED OUT, IN THE MEANTIME I GOT PREGNANT WITH BABY NUMBER TWO...WE COULD NO LONGER AFFORD RENT AND A MORTGAGE SO WE MOVED INTO THE ONE ROOM AND BATH THAT WAS DONE AND SLEPT ON THE FLOOR I WAS NINE MONTHS PREGNANT... IT TOOK ABOUT THREE YEARS BEFORE WE ACTUALLY COULD DO ANY THING COSMETIC LIKE PAINTING... LAST YEAR AFTER 8 YEARS I FINALLY GOT MY FRENCH STYLE LIVING ROOM, AND ACTUALLY GOT TO BUY MY FIRST NEW COUCH... MY HUSBAND RIPPED OUT A TIN CEILING FROM AN OLD COMPANY STORE AND PAINSTAKINGLY PUT IT UP, WHICH WAS THE FIRST MAJOR WOW!...THEN WE HAD THE FIREPLACE OPENED UP WHICH HAD BEEN CLOSED FOR OVER 100 YEARS...TALK ABOUT A MESS...99% OF OUR STUFF IS FROM GARAGE SALES, ANTIQUE STORES,AND AUCTIONS...I GUESS ASIDE FROM THE COUCH I AM PREDJUDICED AGAINST "NEW".LOL I SHOULD OWN STOCK IN WHITE PAINT, SHABBY ROMANTIC IS MY STYLE, I LOVE PINK, BUT MY PASSION DOESNT STOP THERE...FINALLY OUR DREAMS ,OUR VISION IS COMING TOGETHER...AND MY SWEET DUGHTERS ARE NOW 10(SAVANNAH MARIE) AND 5(VICTORIA ROSE)... THERES ALWAYS MORE WORK TO DO HERE, WE STILL HAVE TWO ROOMS TO FINISH, BUT IT IS "HOME" AND WE LOVE IT, IT WILL GET DONE WHEN ITS TIME... AS MY DAD SAYS "IT IS WHAT IT IS"...IN AUGUST MY YOUNGEST WILL START SCHOOL, IT WILL BE A SADLY SWEET TIME AS SHE IS MY LAST, BUT I WILL HAVE THE TIME NOW TO CREATE WHICH IS MY PASSION...
